Meet Ester Arrowsmith

Ester Arrowsmith represented everything that is good about helping people. She started with Tekamar in 2003, working as Richard’s assistant. It wasn’t long after that that Ester realized she could help even more by getting her broker license. A couple years later, and Ester was our newest broker.

Ester believed everyone deserved a mortgage. She went to work every day and represented that idea. When many brokers would give up, Ester would work with people for years to get them in a better financial position. She had a knack for being persistent enough both with borrowers and lenders to get the deal done.

Over the 17 years she worked at Tekamar, Ester also worked alongside Richard in managing the mortgage investment company, then operating under the name Tekamar Mortgage Fund. She became known for her cheery answering of phone calls and love of ellipses in emails. In 2020, Ester retired from Tekamar, and spends her time these days operating her laundry mat business as well as selling Thrive. She was an incredible part of the Tekamar story and missed by many.
